In the same way that you name your children I believe that naming your business should represent something of importance to you – something you believe in – something that represents you both in business and in who you are. This is your chance to leave your mark – your chance to put a brand on something purely your own.
Alan Siegel, chairman and CEO of Siegel & Gale, an international communications firm, believes name developers should give priority to real words or combinations of words over fabricated words. He states, "I believe you should make your business name meaningful. The more your name communicates to consumers, the less effort you must exert to explain it."
I have been asked on a number of ocassions how I came up with my business name, Adonai Business Solutions. Adonai, is a Hebrew word meaning God. For me my Christian faith is very much a part of who I am. I want to portray that in how I run my business without coming across as "preachy".
